Slasher Carbon Splitboard

Our most insane split-machine

The Slasher Carbon Splitboard was designed and engineered for the longer missions. With carbon laminates around the tip-to-tail poplar wood core, the result is a lighter and torsionally stiffer board with increased stability and pop. Carbon laminate also preserve the true all-mountain flex of the splitboard through extended use. This board is a mean camber machine that craves to be ridden with power and dominance. The slightly tapered shape keep the board agile in tight situations, a trusted companion for even the gnarliest steeps. Enjoy the pow.

Slasher Splitboard

All-Mountain performance

In designing the Slasher, we aim for insane control in any terrain. Here in Tirol, Austria, the testing ground for Splitsticks, we like to start our earned pow runs with fast lines at warp speed. Followed up with massive slashes of some windlips along the way. The Slasher provides solid edge control, and is ready for sudden ice on a blown ridge we may encounter.

Below treeline, the Slasher will show its gentler side. Seek out pillows to launch off, slalom trees in waist deep pow, or surf through heavy slush, the Slasher's slightly tapered shape lets you float and eases turns. A much appreciated bonus when your legs are done but the run isn´t.

Bindings and Interface

Precision engineering meets shredding performance

Splitsticks reinvented the terms simplicity, stability, function, and reliability when it comes to splitboard binding design. We started with a completely new approach, we even changed the hole pattern of our boards saving 6 inserts compared to industry standards. Yes, we have less parts screwed onto our boards. The philosophy behind our splitboard bindings and interface is to keep things as simple as possible. What is not there, weighs nothing, cannot break, and won´t catch snow. Ice does not stand a chance. We are proud to announce that the easy way works perfect in the mountains. The system is strong, light (probably the best stability to weight ratio), and easy to adjust. We strived and succeded in engineering all core functions of the splitboard binding interface into the binding itself., dramatically reducing the parts necessary while increasing stability. All connection parts are CNC-machined for the perfect fit. German precision engineering at its best.

Climbing Skins

traction and mounting of skins will make a difference

In cooperation with Kohla we make custom skins for our boards. All skins are precut onto our board shapes. The reliable Cobra Twin System Skin Hooks are mounted on the tail and nose to make sure the skins stay where they should. Mix-Mohair skins offer durability paired with really good gliding performance. All skins are rubber-sealed on the edges to prevent water intake, so the skins stay dry and light even when wet.

Crampons

Grip and safety for the up in hazardous conditions

Crampons come into the game whenever you encounter hardpack or icy conditions on the uphill climb. The assurance of grip from Splitsticks' crampons will allow you to reserve power hiking. Mounting is possible with gloves on. These crampons are made out of tough aluminium, hard-coated to endure rock contact. They will get you through most places where exposure is a threat.
